Every two weeks there are Pre-Registration meetings and tours of
the San Jose Job Corps Center for individuals interested in enrolling
as Job Corps students.
All are welcome to participate to learn about life at Job Corps.
Participants also learn about the dynamic Career Development Services
System that guides individuals beginning in the application process
and continuing through the career preparation period, career development
period, and even provides career transition services following graduation.
Individuals who reside in the San Jose area are urged to participate
in a Preregistration meeting. Preregistration meetings provide first-hand
information about life in Job Corps, the Job Corps career development
services system, and about Job Corps' expectations of its students.
While there is no-cost to students for Job Corps' services, Job
Corps expects students to follow all rules, get along with others,
progress appropriately, and to meet the Job Corps zero tolerance
policies for violence and drugs.
