Students at the San Jose Job Corps live in comfortable dormitory rooms. Most
rooms house four students. A 10-acre campus has three dormitory buildings for
165 women and 165 men. Men and women are housed in separate dormitories that
are supervised by resident advisors.
Besides the dormitories, there are the following facilities at the Job Corps
center:
- Basic education, employability and assessment classrooms
- GED classrooms
- Two charter high school facilities
- Health and wellness clinic, including dental and examination rooms
- TV lounges
- Recreation hall
- Gym
- Computer learning resource center lab
- Career center
- Career transition center
- Vocational classrooms, including a culinary training center
- Child development center in partnership with Head Start
- Administrative offices
- Logistics, receiving and maintenance shop
- Student library
- California Conservation Corps offices
- WIC's offices
