| Okay, time to have fun!!
1. Go to the
website: As you take the tour, think about how fun it will be to
visit the capitol. There is a legislative session going on right
now. The legislature meets every 2 years. That means they last met
in Jan-May of 2007! The session is 140 days long and started in
January & will end June 1, 2009.

Be sure to stand on the front sidewalk of the capitol and turn
360 degrees. Get your parent's help to click onto rooms in the capitol
and find out which direction the senate is (hint: it's east or west).
Look for the house of representatives.

3. Email me the names of your representatives for Texas (senate
